Our local, one-day PR Day conference is widely known as one of our most popular events. We are reviving PR Day and taking it online Thursday, June 24. Presentations will cover topics geared at students, agency, solo and in-house pros, with plenty of opportunities for interacting with speakers, asking questions, and networking with peers. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details.

What's New with Excalibur Awards?
Excalibur Award entries will be accepted beginning Tuesday, April 20. Get your submissions ready to take advantage of early bird rates, which end June 4. Then, be sure to bookmark Thursday, October 7 for the awards gala. Our Excalibur Awards Gala Committee is working hard to plan an incredible event where we can once again celebrate in person, but we need help from additional volunteers to pull off the perfect night. If you’re interested in getting involved with the committee, please contact Excalibur Awards Gala Chair Amanda Fenwick at [email protected].

Help a Student Succeed
As members of the public relations profession in the Houston area, we support future practitioners studying communication disciplines by offering scholarships to students at every level of study, including undergraduate and graduate levels. We are proud to support the advancement of the public relations field and encourage students to apply for one of our many scholarships. Applications will be accepted through May 2021, at which point the PRSA Houston Scholarship Committee will interview candidates. Visit here for more information.

We Need Your Support for our PR Family
Sponsorships are the lifeblood of PRSA chapters across the nation and with the pandemic still at play, sponsorships have been difficult to secure. Sponsorships allow chapters to provide valuable member services to you and maintain a thriving public relations profession and community. Becoming a PRSA Houston sponsor is an excellent way to reach a professional audience of more than 10K communication professionals.
