Danny Hermosillo has worked in the news industry for more than 30 years. As a TV reporter, he covered such renowned events as the Branch Davidian Standoff, the Oklahoma City Bombing, as well as several hurricanes and other disasters. He was a news manager at MSNBC on 9-11 and the subsequent war in Afghanistan. He has been a news director and news manager in numerous places, including the U.S. Virgin Islands. He was an assignments editor at KHOU in Houston. Danny is currently the digital news editor for the Houston Chronicle’s website, Chron.com.

Bridgett S. Holden is the principal owner of the Houston-based public relations firm, SHE Bridges PR (SBPR), whose slogan matches its purpose of “Bridging the Gap Between You and the Media!” Bridgett has evolved her company by strategically branding her clients in the industries of fashion, beauty, entertainment, sports, and politics, securing brand placements for her clients via media outlets on internationally, nationally, locally and digitally. Bridgett has successfully managed the roles of being a business owner, volunteer, board member, speaker and an active participant in the community. She currently serves on the Houston Association of Black Journalists (HABJ) Board which raises scholarships for college students majoring in the area of Journalism as the media monitor. 


Kami Huyse
Zoetica Media LLC

Kami Huyse is a public relations professional and author. She is the CEO of Zoetica Media LLC, a digital marketing and public relations agency. She is the founder of the monthly Social Media Breakfast of Houston live event and live stream, co-founder of the Communities That Convert podcast, and co-founder TexasTravelTalk.com, a community of travel bloggers and travel influencer platform. She also serves on the board of Civilination, a nonprofit dedicated to taking a stand against online harassment, character assassination, and violence. Kami helps communicators, brands and entrepreneurs connect with online communities that mean the most to their business to build awareness for their brand; contribute meaningfully to the community; and drive measurable results.
