About Our Emcee
Danielle Grossman is a seasoned journalist and distinguished communications expert, boasting a rich career spanning over a decade. Currently, she holds the prestigious position of Director of Strategic Communications at the iconic Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. In this pivotal role, Danielle orchestrates the organization's public relations and media relations strategies, navigates crisis communications, serves as a pivotal figure in content curation, crafts company-wide messaging, and acts as the organization's spokesperson articulating the values and vision of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Before HLSR, Danielle worked as a freelance reporter at KPRC in Houston and at CNN as a writer and producer. Danielle also honed her expertise as a senior consultant at two distinguished PR firms. Here, she lent her guidance to esteemed companies and brands, adeptly steering them towards garnering media attention, refining their messaging, and maintaining relevance. Danielle has graced NBC stations nationwide, from the plains of South Dakota to the bayous of Louisiana. Notably, her coverage of tornado devastation in Ohio earned her a feature on The Today Show. Moreover, she spearheaded the launch of a brand-new NBC Affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she held the dual roles of managing editor and evening anchor.
A proud alumna of Temple University in Philadelphia, Danielle holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She currently resides in the Woodlands with her husband and two daughters.
